VIJ's RANGOLI - 1480 W 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6H 1L1

Located at 11th and Granville in Vancouver, it occupies the original Vij’s space. They have moved to a larger space on Cambie and Rangoli has taken up this more casual and late night dining. I always enjoy sharing plates to get the real feel of the food. We started with the pakora’s and Mogo fries then worked our way through the menu. The obvious and most ordered item is the Lamb Popsicles, they never disappoint, as they lay smothered in a delightful curry sauce. The tamarind chicken is another must along with the shortrib. Naan helps you mop up the amazing sauces that marry with each dish.
I love the idea of not lining up and Rangoli has that. Perhaps not now that I shout this out. We went on Wednesday, when the wine by the bottle is 30% off! You gotta love that.
