Get an intro to the wonderful flavours and techniques of the Thai kitchen through some lesser known but delicious recipes! In this class, you will learn Thai cooking basics from chef Haan Palcu-Chang, who has worked at Vancouver’s Maenam, one Michelin star Thai restaurant Kiin Kiin in Copenhagen, and most recently led Favourites Thai BBQ in Toronto to win Toronto Life’s Best New Restaurant award. Join us for an unforgettable night and be transported to Asia with these delicious and unique recipes.

• Ma Hor: Stewed Palm Sugar Pork and Pineapple Bites.
• Yam Kai Dao: Crispy Egg Salad, Sweet and Sour Lime Dressing, Chinese Celery, and Tomato.
• Khao Mok Gai: Thai Curry Chicken Rice, Served with Homemade Dipping Sauce and Fresh Vegetables.
• Bua Loi: Glutinous Taro Rice Balls in Sweet Coconut Milk.

Haan Palcu-Chang is a Taiwanese-Romanian award winning chef based out of Salt Spring Island, BC. Chef Haan brings global experience from leading kitchens all over the world, including, Paris, Copenhagen, Singapore, Toronto, and Vancouver’s own Maenam Restaurant.

Chef Haan most recently led Favourites Thai BBQ in Toronto to win Toronto Life’s Best New Restaurant award. Chef Haan brings unique interpretations of traditional flavours making it approachable for the home cook and any foodie who is looking to explore new flavours and cuisines.
