Are you looking to make show-stopping cakes? Always searching for more ways to impress your party guests and friends? Well, this Advanced Pastry course is for you!
Learn from Andrei Godoroja, winner of The Great Canadian Baking Show, how to create and construct delicious cakes with luscious fillings and velvety buttercream. In this class you will get to create a multi-layered 6” cake, filled and frosted with your favourite choices. Andrei will demonstrate trimming, icing, and filling techniques before attendees will have the chance to practice their new skills.
In this hands-on class, you will make several kinds of creams for filling and frosting and learn techniques for putting it all together. Students will create a cake with flavours of their choosing that they can take home, ready for any celebration.

• Choice of: Cakes: Vanilla or Chocolate
• Fillings: Lemon Bavaroise, Vanilla-Rum Bavaroise, Caramel Diplomat Cream, Crème Chantilly, and Whipped Chocolate Ganache.
• Buttercreams: Swiss Buttercream, German Buttercream, and Caramel Condensed Milk Buttercream.

- All participants receive a storewide 10% discount on the day of the class with exceptions on already reduced prices and electrical items, in-store items only.
- Attendees must be at least 19 years of age to attend/participate in these classes.

Andrei Godoroja was first asked to teach a pastry course a few years ago, which puzzled Andrei, as he has a degree in Engineering Physics and no training in pastry. However, he went on to be in Season 2 of The Great Canadian Baking Show and, in fact, won.
Andrei believes a background in Physics was good preparation for pastry, but not necessary, and is enthusiastic about showing people how to master something that many people actually fear.
