Crunchy Cocoa Cups

by Caren McSherry
Such an easy, chocolate bite to make that has texture, crunch and flavour. It take minutes to make and I promise you, everyone will ask what it is.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup really good chocolate 70% or higher
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 1 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted
  • Gold flakes

Method:

1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, add the corn flakes and almonds. Lightly fold the mixture together until all are coated completely with the chocolate.
2. Drop by tablespoon onto a parchment lined cookie sheet or alternatively into the cute little mini bonbon paper cups. Lightly sprinkle gold flakes over the top. Let the nests sit until set.
Can be make one day ahead.
